FIELD NOTE ·
Eyewear hinges and temple details in context
A clear photograph sequence for frames, hinges and markings without publishing prescription information.
Show the frame shape first
Photograph the front, side and opened frame on a clean surface. Use a soft light source and move the camera if the lenses reflect your surroundings. Avoid pressing the frame flat or forcing a hinge to obtain a symmetrical photograph. The purpose is to record the object as it is, including any visible asymmetry that deserves further inspection. Add a note if the frame was photographed folded, since that changes which details are visible.
Add both sides of the construction
Include the hinge area and the inside of each temple when safely accessible. A narrow detail photograph should be paired with a wider view showing which side it belongs to. Copy visible measurements exactly and explain their location. Temple length, bridge width and lens dimensions do not by themselves establish comfort or optical suitability for a particular wearer.
Keep private and technical claims separate
Do not publish a prescription sheet, order label or a document showing a customer name. A visible marking is part of the record, not proof of origin. Describe lens condition and known alterations in plain language without diagnosing a coating or material from an image. Seek an appropriate professional for fitting, adjustment or questions about the lenses.
